Francois is Partner for Market Research and Engineered Lumber at Forest Economic Advisors, where he co-authors the I-Joists, LVL and MSR lumber Forecast. He is responsible for construction intelligence services and market research. He published several reports on wood use in nonresidential and multifamily construction in North America. He has directed multiple opportunity and feasibility studies on mass timber and offsite construction. He also supports clients in product and market development for innovative products such as new engineered wood products and fiber-based insulation. Francois graduated in forest management before completing a masters’ degree in forest economics at Laval. He also holds a Ph.D. in Forest Products Marketing from UBC.
